Small changes
big opportunities

Underwear is only one small part of supporting children who struggle with the many consequences of poverty. 7 pairs of new underwear can increase regular school attendance and boost self-esteem for the neediest among us.

Homeless Departments

The Harlingen and Brownsville public school districts support students enrolled in the federally mandated homeless department. Most of the students are “couch surfing”, many fewer students live in shelters with their families. The department makes sure these children attend their home schools, assuring continuity in their education. The department also provides basic needs, including UFE underwear.

How to Get Involved

One Click Undies

Start your own Undies drive – virtually!

Host a virtual undies drive by inviting your group’s members, friends and family.  Click a button and send some undies for a child in need.

To help you promote your drive, we’ll equip you with UFE-branded templates and ideas for social posts to spread the digital word far and wide.

Undies for Change

A new way to volunteer!

Undies for Change is a fee-based volunteer opportunity. UFE sends your group underwear, supplies and instructions to make perfect packs of 7 pairs that you deliver to a pre-identified local children’s agency.

Undies for Change makes it easy roll, pack and deliver undies for local kids. It’s a great opportunity for corporations, organizations, and schools to make a big difference in a child’s life.

Just the change
a child needs.
